It’s sooooo important to prioritise your health right now in order to maintain physical and mental well-being.You might be desperately missing the lat-pulldown and leg press, but there’s so much you can do at home to keep your strength up with body-weight workouts, or some DIY gear.
A schedule really helps to ensure you make workouts part of your daily routine and avoid the “I’ll do it tomorrow” blues, and you can keep it time efficient by combining strength and cardio into the one session. Plan your week, do some sessions by yourself or join one of my remote sessions.
My remote sessions are carefully planned and deliver a balanced workout in the comfort and privacy of your home, backyard, or local park if you’ve got mobile data.

To be ready for a session, you’ll need to setup your space. Roll out a mat, place any equipment you have nearby (let me know what gear you have prior), and position your iPad or laptop about 1.5 - 2 metres away. I’ll send you a Zoom link in an email or calendar booking for you to click on when the session starts.Zoom Tips!... PIN my video so you can see me full screen. On iOS from the gallery view, just double-tap my video. If the speakers on your device aren’t great, use Bluetooth headphones. Alternatively, you can have your phone in your pocket and your headphones on, while watching on a laptop, iPad or another phone.
It can be good to set up your phone near your TV and connect to screen mirroring. Apple TV works well with iPhones, Chromecast with Google, and many TV’s have the feature as standard. This way you can see tiny me on the big screen looking huge!
I have been training with Karen for roughly 6 or 7 years now. She really can push you to your limits, leaves you utterly exhausted after a session, and makes it difficult to move the next few days!
