I’ve always had a passion for fitness, and have been active in the industry for more than 20 years. Yes! I'm in my fifties now and feeling good about staying fit and aging well.

Being healthy gives me confidence and empowers me to have a positive outlook on life, particularly during those challenging moments. I love the way exercise makes me feel and strongly believe in the benefits it has for both body and mind.

As a busy working mum with two wonderful kids I’ve experienced the struggle many people face of finding time to exercise. I know what it’s like to lose fitness and gain weight, and I also know how amazing it feels to regain that fitness and enjoy being active again. What did it for me was learning about all of the different, enjoyable, time-efficient exercise methods which would let me get back into shape while still meeting the demands of life and caring for my family.

I feel rewarded knowing my ‘job’ is to encourage, teach and support people to create their best self. This is what moves me and motivates me to keep doing what I do. I get a buzz knowing my clients feel amazing as a result of their workouts.

I teach a combination of styles because our bodies and minds need constant stimulation and variety to stay motivated and achieve all round fitness.

I apply, and you’ll learn different types of cardio, strength and conditioning exercises which will challenge your body and drive change. Change will become habit, and variety, consistency and intensity will transform you. I will not let you plateau.

You will raise your metabolism, improve your muscular strength, endurance, balance, core stability and overall cardio fitness. Combined with a nutritionally balanced and portion controlled diet you will achieve the sustainable results you deserve.

I began training with Karen approximately 18 months ago as I had suffered from chronic back pain for several years. Karen was fantastic in altering exercises to cater for my bad back and checking my technique, whilst also focusing on rehabilitation exercises to strengthen my core and back muscles.

After 6 months or so of training, chronic back pain was no longer an issue and I can now engage in tasks that i had avoided for years!

Karen's vibrant and positive personality makes the sessions loads of fun and i can't recommend her highly enough.

I was personal training with Karen for about two years in Sydney before she unfortunately (for me) relocated to Melbourne. Karen always listened extensively to what my goals were and had great suggestions which made you extend yourself in any training session.

She always put a great deal of thought and effort in, especially if you had a problem in a certain area. I always enjoyed my training sessions with Karen, who although trains you very hard, can always make you enjoy an extremely hard session.

My flexibility, strength and well-being have greatly improved, which I am maintaining with Karen’s help - she can't escape her Sydney clients. Karen as a Personal Trainer gets full marks from me.

Karen helped me set and achieve my goals of competing in Tough Mudder, running a half marathon and getting more muscle tone through a structured program that was easy to follow.

Her approach is hands-on and training, while tough at times, is always something I look forward to.
